Scott's Oriole

Icterus parisorum

The Scott's Oriole is a striking songbird found in the southwestern United States and parts of Mexico. Males have bold black and yellow plumage, while females are more subdued with grayish-yellow tones. These orioles are often found in arid and semi-arid habitats such as desert scrub, oak woodlands, and canyon bottoms.
