Screaming Piha, Lipaugus vociferans, is a passerine of the Cotingidae found in Amazonia and eastern Brazil, with a broad South American range. It lives in lowland evergreen forest, especially terra firme, and also uses igapó and várzea in some places. It is a resident bird throughout the year. The species is monotypic. Its plumage is shared by both sexes, with grey upperparts, browner wings and tail, and paler underparts, while young birds show cinnamon-rufous wing coverts and tail tips.
