Scrubtit, Acanthornis magna, is a passerine of Tasmania in south-eastern Australia, with breeding range in Australasia. It is a bird of temperate rainforest, Nothofagus beech forest and eucalypt woodland, and it is also found on King Island. The species is small and was once grouped with the Sericornis scrubwrens. It belongs to the family Acanthizidae and is the only species in its genus. It is shy and hard to see, usually staying close to the ground in thick cover.
