Serra Antwren, Formicivora serrana, is a passerine antbird found in south-eastern Brazil. It is part of the Thamnophilidae family and is confined to this part of South America. The species has three recognised subspecies, and the form littoralis has been treated separately as the Restinga Antwren before being placed back with Serra Antwren in wider taxonomic systems. Males and females differ in plumage, and the subspecies also show marked differences in the male patterning and smaller differences in the females.
