Serra do Mar Bristle Tyrant, Pogonotriccus difficilis, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family that breeds in eastern and south-eastern Brazil. It is tied to the Serra do Mar coastal forests, where it lives in humid montane woodland, both within the interior and along the margins. Its range runs from south-eastern Minas Gerais and south-western Espírito Santo to north-eastern Rio Grande do Sul. It is a resident bird. The species was first described in 1907 and is now placed in Pogonotriccus.
