Serra Finch, Embernagra longicauda, is a bird of eastern Brazil in the tanager family Thraupidae. It breeds in the east of the country and is a resident there throughout the year. First described by Strickland in 1844, it is a Brazilian endemic and belongs to the genus Embernagra. It is found mainly in campos rupestres, especially in wooded and scrubby places rather than open grassland. The species is recognised by its long tail, short wings and stout bill, and the sexes share the same plumage.
