Acrocephalus brevipennis
The Seychelles Brush Warbler (Acrocephalus brevipennis) is a small passerine bird endemic to the Seychelles archipelago. It is characterized by its olive-brown upperparts, pale underparts, and a distinct white eye-ring. This warbler is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard in dense vegetation. It primarily feeds on insects and small invertebrates. The species is confined to the native scrubland and woodland habitats of the Seychelles, and is particularly associated with areas of tangled undergrowth and thickets. Due to habitat loss and invasive species, the Seychelles Brush Warbler is listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List.
