Aerodramus elaphrus (Oberholser, 1906)

Seychelles Swiftlet, Aerodramus elaphrus, is a swift of the Indian Ocean, breeding on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue in the Inner Islands of the Seychelles. It also wanders to North, Silhouette and Aride. A small member of the swift family, it is confined to the Seychelles Islands. It has dark grey-brown upperparts, paler grey-brown underparts, a dark slightly forked tail, and black bill and legs. Its wings are long and narrow, though less pointed than those of other swift species that visit the islands.
