Shore Lark

Eremophila bilopha

The Shore Lark, also known as the Horned Lark, is a small songbird found in open, often barren, habitats such as tundra, rocky shores, and sandy beaches. It is known for its distinctive black and yellow face pattern, as well as its melodious song. Shore Larks are highly adaptable and can be found in a variety of environments, from coastal areas to high mountain ranges. They forage for seeds and insects on the ground and are known for their acrobatic flight displays during courtship.
