Short-billed Leaftosser, Sclerurus rufigularis, is a passerine of the Furnariidae that breeds in Amazonia in South America. It lives in lowland tropical evergreen forest on terra firme, and its range includes the Amazon basin. It is a stocky bird with a short tail and the shortest bill among the leaftossers in its genus. The sexes look alike. The species was described by Pelzeln in 1868, and the nominate form is one of four recognised subspecies.
