The Short-tailed Newtonia (Nesillas brevicaudata) is a small passerine bird found in Madagascar. It is characterized by its short tail and olive-brown plumage, with a distinctive white eye ring. This species is known for its agile and acrobatic foraging behavior, often seen hopping and flitting through the dense undergrowth of the eastern rainforests.
