Short-tailed Parrotbill, Suthora davidiana, is a bird of the Paradoxornithidae family in the Oriental Region, breeding from southern China and eastern Myanmar to northern Thailand and northern Vietnam. It is associated with subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest. The species is part of a genus marked by a very short, less stepped tail, a comparatively large and deep bill, and a rounded wing with the fourth to seventh feathers nearly equal in length. It was described by HH Slater in 1897.
