Short-toed Lark

Short-toed Larks forage for seeds and insects on the ground, using their sharp bills to extract food from the soil. They are highly migratory birds, with populations in Europe wintering in sub-Saharan Africa. While the global population trend is declining, the Short-toed Lark is currently classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
