Shy Ground Dove, Pampusana stairi, is a pigeon in the family Columbidae that breeds in Fiji, Wallis and Futuna, Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga. It is recorded from Savaii, Upolu and Aleipata in Samoa, the Manua group in American Samoa, and from the Pacific islands of Fiji, Wallis and Futuna and Tonga. The species was first described by Gray, GR, 1856. It was once placed in Alopecoenas, but is now treated in Pampusana, a name adopted in 2019 because it has priority.
