Larvivora brunnea
The Siberian Blue Robin (Larvivora brunnea) is a small migratory bird found in eastern Asia. It is known for its striking blue plumage on the upperparts and a rusty-orange breast. This species is often found in dense undergrowth of broadleaf and mixed forests, where it forages for insects and small invertebrates. During the breeding season, the male Siberian Blue Robin sings a melodious song to attract a mate. It is a long-distance migrant, spending the winter in Southeast Asia. Despite facing threats from habitat loss and climate change, the Siberian Blue Robin's population status is currently assessed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
