Sierra Nevada Antpitta, Grallaria spatiator, is a passerine of the Grallariidae family that breeds in the Santa Marta Mountains of northern Colombia. It is confined to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, where it lives in the isolated mountain range of Magdalena, La Guajira and Cesar. The bird was first described by Bangs in 1898 and later restored to species rank after being treated for much of the twentieth century as part of the rufous antpitta complex. It is monotypic and is associated with mossy, epiphyte-rich temperate forest, mainly on the forest floor and in the understorey.
