Slaty Becard, Pachyramphus spodiurus, is a passerine of the Tityridae family that breeds in western Ecuador and north-west Peru. It was described by Sclater in 1860. It is a resident bird of semi-humid and deciduous woodland, clearings, plantations with scattered trees, and, in a few places, dry scrubby ravines and humid cleared areas. Its range is limited to scattered sites in its wider distribution. It is monotypic. It is found mostly below 600 m in Ecuador and up to 750 m in Peru.
