Slaty-headed Longbill, Toxorhamphus poliopterus, is a passerine in the family Melanocharitidae, the berrypeckers and longbills. It occurs in Australasia, where it breeds in montane western, central, north-eastern and south-eastern New Guinea. It was described by Sharpe in 1882.
