Slender Antbird, Rhopornis ardesiacus, is a passerine of the antbird family that breeds in eastern Brazil. It is confined to the south-eastern part of Bahia and the north-east of Minas Gerais, where it lives in the understorey of dry forest and in edges with wetter forest and caatinga scrub. It is the only species in its genus and has no subspecies. Both sexes have bright red irises. Males show grey upperparts and a blackish grey wing and tail pattern, while females have a russet crown and nape with paler underparts.
