Snowy-browed Flycatcher

The Snowy-browed Flycatcher is a small passerine bird found in the eastern Himalayas and Southeast Asia. It has a distinctive white eyebrow stripe, contrasting with its dark plumage. This species is known for its agile aerial foraging behavior, often catching insects on the wing. Snowy-browed Flycatchers breed in montane forests and are known for their melodious calls. They are migratory birds, traveling to lower elevations during the winter. Despite facing threats from habitat loss and fragmentation, their populations are currently stable.
