Snowy Sheathbill, Chionis albus, is a bird in the order Charadriiformes and the family Chionidae, the sheathbills. It breeds in Antarctica on the Antarctic Peninsula and satellites, the South Shetland Islands, the South Orkney Islands and South Georgia Island. Outside the breeding season it occurs to coastal southern Chile and eastern Argentina, to Cape Horn and the Falkland Islands.
