Snowy-throated Kingbird, Tyrannus niveigularis, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family that lives in western South America, breeding from south-west Colombia to western Peru. It is a partial migrant, with some birds moving seasonally and others remaining in place in Ecuador. In the breeding season it uses gallery forest, deciduous forest, dry scrub, secondary growth and farmland with scattered woodland. It is a monotypic species. Adults show a white throat, a grey head with a concealed yellow crown patch, and a dark facial band.
