Solomons Brush Cuckoo, Cacomantis addendus, is a cuckoo of the Solomon Islands, where it occurs throughout the group except Rennell. It belongs to the family Cuculidae and was first described in 1901 by Rothschild and Hartert. The bird was once treated as part of the Sahul Brush Cuckoo, but it is now recognised as a separate species. It is monotypic, with no subspecies accepted. Its status as a distinct species was based on differences in form and vocalisation.
