Somali Starling, Onychognathus blythii, is a starling in the family Sturnidae and breeds in Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia and Socotra. It was described by Hartlaub in 1859. In north Ethiopia, within the Degua Tembien district, it is found in bushy and shrubby areas. Its range is limited to the Horn of Africa and nearby Socotra, where it occurs in these parts of Africa.
