Southern Marquesan Reed Warbler, Acrocephalus mendanae, is a passerine in the Acrocephalidae family and lives only in the southern Marquesas Islands of north-eastern Polynesia. It was described by Tristram in 1883. It was once treated as the same species as the northern Marquesan reed warbler, with both forms placed under the name Marquesan reed warbler. The southern Marquesan population includes the named forms dido on Uapou, mendanae on Hiva Oa and Tahuata, consobrina on Mohotani, and fatuhivae on Fatuhiva.
