Southern Shrikebill, Clytorhynchus pachycephaloides, is a passerine in the monarch family that breeds in Vanuatu and New Caledonia. It is also known as the brown flycatcher. The species was described by Elliot in 1870. Two subspecies are recognised: C. p. pachycephaloides on New Caledonia and C. p. grisescens on the Banks Islands of Vanuatu. Its range is in Australasia, and it occurs in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
