Spectacled Bulbul, Ixodia erythropthalmos, is a passerine in the bulbul family that breeds in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo, with records from Banyak, Nias and the Batu Islands west of northern and central Sumatra, the Lingga Islands east of central Sumatra, and Bangka and Belitung east of southern Sumatra. It was described by Hume in 1878. The bird is placed in the Oriental Region and is also known as the lesser brown bulbul.
