Spectacled Fulvetta, Fulvetta ruficapilla, is a passerine of the Paradoxornithidae family that breeds in central and southern China. It was described by Verreaux, J, in 1871. It is a bird of the Oriental Region, and its range is in China. It is associated with temperate forests. The species was once placed with Alcippe in Timaliidae, and also linked to Sylviidae. Its breeding season runs from March to June. Nests contain 2-3 white eggs, and both adults incubate them for 13-14 days. The young remain in the nest for 12-14 days.
