Spectacled Spiderhunter, Arachnothera flavigaster, is a bird of the Oriental Region, with breeding range in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo. It belongs to the sunbird family, Nectariniidae, and was described by Eyton in 1839. It occurs in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, and uses subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest as well as subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. It is the largest spiderhunter and also the largest member of the sunbird family. Its total length is around 22 cm, and its body mass is around 38.4 to 49 g.
