Amytornis textilis

The Spinifex Pigeon is often found in spinifex grasslands, open woodlands, and scrublands. It is known for its distinctive call and agile movements on the ground. Although not currently listed on the IUCN Red List, the conservation status of the Spinifex Pigeon is considered of Least Concern due to its relatively stable population and wide distribution.
