Spix's Warbling Antbird, Hypocnemis striata, is a passerine of the antbird family that breeds in central and east-central Brazil. It is a bird of Amazonian forest edges and nearby secondary woodland, especially where mature growth meets terra firme and várzea forest. The species was first described by Spix in 1825. It is found south of the Amazon River, with the western population between the Madeira and Tapajós, the nominate form farther east to the Xingu, and affinis beyond that to the Tocantins and southern Mato Grosso.
