Spot-breasted Antvireo, Dysithamnus stictothorax, is a bird of south-eastern Brazil in South America, where it is confined to that country. It belongs to the antbird family and was first described by Temminck in 1823. Its range runs along the coastal belt from south-eastern Bahia to Santa Catarina, with an inland extension into Minas Gerais. It lives in evergreen forest, using the lower and middle layers, and is often found along edges beside roads and clearings. It is a year-round resident, and its breast is marked with large dark spots.
