Spotted Wood Owl Strix seloputo is an owl in the family Strigidae, within the order Strigiformes. It occurs in the Oriental Region, in south-eastern Asia, eastern Sumatra, Java and the Palawan group in south-western Philippines. It was described by Horsfield in 1821.
