Piaya cayana
The Squirrel Cuckoo (Piaya cayana) is a medium-sized cuckoo found in Central and South America. It has a long tail and a distinctive reddish-brown coloration on its wings and back. Squirrel Cuckoos are often seen foraging for insects and small fruits in the mid to upper levels of the forest canopy. They are known to be vocal and active, often moving quickly through the trees.
