St. Helena Hoopoe, Upupa antaios, was an extinct hoopoe from St. Helena in the tropical south-east Atlantic Ocean. It is known only from incomplete subfossil remains, and the species was described by Olson in 1975. The bird had a sturdier skull and leg structure than the Eurasian Hoopoe, while its wing bones were reduced, pointing to a flightless life. Its exact appearance is unknown, but it was probably similar in form to living hoopoes.
