Mixornis gularis
The striated grassbird (Mixornis gularis) is a small passerine bird found in South and Southeast Asia. It is known for its distinctive striated plumage and loud, melodious song. This species is often found in tall grasslands, marshes, and reed beds, where it forages for insects and small invertebrates. The striated grassbird is known for its skulking behavior, often staying hidden in dense vegetation. It builds its nest low in the grass and lays a clutch of eggs.
