Ibidorhyncha struthersii

Struthers's ibis (Ibidorhyncha struthersii) is a medium-sized bird found in the wetlands and marshes of sub-Saharan Africa. It is known for its distinctive long, curved bill and striking black and white plumage. These birds are often seen foraging for invertebrates and small fish in shallow water, using their specialized bill to probe the mud for food. Struthers's ibis is a social species, often found in small flocks or pairs. Despite being relatively widespread, the species faces threats from habitat loss and degradation.
