Stuhlmann's Starling, Poeoptera stuhlmanni, is a starling of montane forests in Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and Tanzania. It occurs in the Albertine Rift, the East African highlands, the Imatong Mountains and the south-western Ethiopian montane forests. Adults have dark brown eyes, black bills and legs, and the sexes differ slightly in tone and sheen, with males generally darker and more glossy. Females and young birds show reddish markings beneath the primary feathers. Its calls include whistling, trilling and jay-like notes.
