Styan's Bulbul, Pycnonotus taivanus, is a bulbul of Taiwan in the Oriental Region, where it breeds in the east and south of the island. It was described by Styan in 1893. The bird is closely tied to the light-vented bulbul, but it can be told apart by the pattern on the head. Its crown is entirely black, with white feathers round the eye and a black moustachial stripe below the bill. Hybrids show features between the two birds.
