Sulawesi Hawk-Eagle, Nisaetus lanceolatus, is a bird of the rainforests of Sulawesi and the nearby islands of Togian, Banggai, Sula, Muna and Butung. It is an endemic species of Indonesia and belongs to the Accipitridae family. Adults are noted for their rufous-brown head and breast markings, dark brown wings and white underparts with black barring. The young bird has a white head and underparts. It was described by Temminck and Schlegel in 1845.
