Rhabdotorrhinus exarhatus (Temminck, 1823)

Sulawesi Hornbill, Rhabdotorrhinus exarhatus, is a hornbill of Sulawesi in Australasia, where it breeds in tropical lowland forest, swamps and primary forest, from sea level to 1,100 metres. It is an Indonesian endemic and occurs on the main island and some nearby islands. The male has a yellow face and throat, with a yellowish bill marked in black, while the female is entirely black with a darker bill. It is a social bird that may live in groups of up to 20, and the female lays her eggs in a tree hole.
