Sulawesi Masked Owl, Tyto rosenbergii, is a bird of the Indonesian islands of Sulawesi, Sangihe, Togian, Salayar and Butung. It belongs to the barn owl family and was first named by Schlegel in 1866. Its range is centred on these islands in Australasia, with records from Sulawesi and nearby island groups. It is also known as Rosenberg’s owl and several other local names. The species is part of the order Strigiformes and is placed in Tytonidae.
