Sulawesi Myna, Basilornis celebensis, is a starling of Sulawesi and the nearby islands of Lembeh, Muna, Buton and the Togian Islands in Australasia. It lives in humid lowland forest and also uses forest edges, clearings, scattered woodland and secondary growth, with some records from primary forest. The bird has a glossy black plumage and a permanently raised crest, larger in the male. Its face and throat show white patches, the eye is ringed by bare bluish-black skin, and the bill is pale bluish-green. Juveniles are chocolate brown.
