Sulphur-bearded Reedhaunter, Limnoctites sulphuriferus, is a passerine of the Furnariidae found in southern Brazil, Uruguay and north-eastern Argentina. It lives in freshwater marshes with tall reeds or grasses, usually with scrub nearby, and stays in the same area all year. It is a small ovenbird with the sexes alike, and adults show a yellow chin and centre of throat, with a whitish breast marked by fine grey streaks. It was once placed in other genera before being assigned to Limnoctites.
