Pterorhinus galbanus
The Sulphur-bellied Bulbul (Pterorhinus galbanus) is a small passerine bird found in the forests and woodlands of Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its distinctive yellow underparts and olive-green upperparts, with a black mask around its eyes. This species is known for its melodious and varied songs, often heard in the early morning and late afternoon. Sulphur-bellied Bulbuls are primarily frugivorous, feeding on a variety of fruits, berries, and insects. They are typically found in the mid to upper levels of the forest canopy, where they forage and breed. Although not currently assessed by the IUCN, the species may face threats from habitat loss and fragmentation.
