Sulphur-bellied Warbler

Phylloscopus griseolus

The Sulphur-bellied Warbler (Phylloscopus griseolus) is a small, insectivorous bird found in the boreal forests of northern Europe and Asia. This warbler is known for its olive-green upperparts, yellowish underparts, and a distinctive yellow wash on the belly. It has a sharp, high-pitched song and is often found foraging in the canopy of coniferous and mixed forests. During the breeding season, it builds cup-shaped nests in dense vegetation and lays a clutch of eggs. The Sulphur-bellied Warbler is a migratory species, wintering in Southeast Asia. Its population is considered stable, and it is not currently of conservation concern.
