Phylloscopus ricketti
The Sulphur-breasted Warbler (Phylloscopus ricketti) is a small, insectivorous bird found in East Asia. It is characterized by its olive-green upperparts, yellow underparts, and distinct white supercilium. This warbler is known for its energetic foraging behavior, often seen flitting through the foliage in search of insects and larvae. It breeds in coniferous and mixed forests, and during migration, it can be found in a variety of wooded habitats. The song of the Sulphur-breasted Warbler is a high-pitched, rapid trill. While not currently considered globally threatened, habitat loss and degradation pose potential threats to its populations.
