Garrulax bicolor Hartlaub, 1844
Sumatran Laughingthrush, Garrulax bicolor, is a passerine of the Leiothrichidae family found in montane Sumatra in the Oriental Region. It is a highland forest bird from the Indonesian island of Sumatra, and it is set apart by its blackish-brown and white plumage. Hartlaub described it in 1844. It was once placed with the white-crested laughingthrush, Garrulax leucolophus, but is now treated as a separate species. It is also known as the black-and-white laughingthrush.
