Sumba Buttonquail, Turnix everetti, is a bird of Sumba in the western Lesser Sundas of Indonesia, where it breeds. It belongs to the buttonquail family, Turnicidae, within the order Charadriiformes. The species is confined to Sumba Island and uses dry savanna, moist shrubland, dry lowland grassland and arable land. It is named for Alfred Hart Everett.
