Geokichla wardii

This species is often found in dense undergrowth of tropical and subtropical forests, where it forages for insects, small invertebrates, and fruits. The Sunda Thrush is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard during the breeding season. While its population trend is not well-documented, it faces threats from habitat loss and fragmentation. As a result, its conservation status is currently classified as Near Threatened by the IUCN.
